LD Systems DEEP2 2400X – PA Power Amplifier (2 x 1200W at 2 Ohms)
The LD Systems DEEP2 2400X brings you a powerful power amplifier that’s also compatible with 2ohm systems. Boasting a number of key specifications, the DEEP2 2400X includes 2 x 1200W at 2 ohms; 2 x 950W at 4 ohms; and 2 x 600W at 8 ohms RMS power.
Like all DEEP2 power amplifiers, the DEEP 2400X uses class H circuitry powered by a conventional power supply. As well as protective circuitry that’s identical across the entire series. Not to mention, it follows the trend of integrating two temperature-dependent two step cooling fans.
On top of that, the DEEP2 2400X features a switchable 12dB low-cut and/or 12d|B low-pass filter that’s adjustable between 25Hz to 150Hz on both channels. As a result, the DEEP2 2400X is perfect for use as either a bass amp or a powerful bi-amping system. Then, turn the switches off and it becomes a traditional 2 channel power amp.

Rear Panel Connectivity
The DEEP2 2400X offers 2 3-pin XLR/6.33mm TRS COMBI-type connector inputs for INPUT A and B. These are for connecting to a mixing console or another source. Also present are XLR-type connectors LINK A and B. These allow you to prepare for through connecting input signals to additional external power amps. The input signal is directly routed to these output connectors, even if power is switched off.
A Ground Lift switch is present which breaks a connection between the chassis earth and electrical earth. Use this feature only when a 50Hz hum is heard from your loudspeakers.
The DEEP2 2400X offers both Speakon and Binding post-type loudspeaker connectors for output signals. The Speakon connector is useful with high-power speaker connections. It locks in place, prevents shock hazards, and assures the correct polarity.
